Grinning Whiskers Professional Cat Sitting's Policies
1) Please note that unscheduled visits are subject to availability. To ensure service, please schedule as far in advance as possible, especially during the summer and on all holidays.
2) Notification of Visits. Please give at least one week notification. A $10 surcharge will be added for reservations made within less than 1 week.
3) If you need to cancel a visit, please give 24 hours notice. If you cancel within less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full rate. If you need to cancel a full vacation (1 week+), please give at least 48 hours notice. If you cancel within less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged a fee of $50.
4) Keys not kept on file with Grinning Whiskers. $5 key pick-up / $5 key drop-off (this excludes key pick-up at the ‘get aquainted’ interview).
5) Medical treatment. If your pet requires treatment at the pet hospital or at your veterinarian's office, the hourly rate is $30, and the customer is responsible for all medical charges and transportation costs.
6) Holidays. A $15 surcharge applies to all major holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.
7) Pet Supplies. You are responsible for providing adequate food, litter and supplies for the duration of your absence. A $10 surcharge will be added if we need to replenish these items, plus the cost of such supplies. We cannot guarantee the purchase of your usual brand.
8) Vaccinations. All vaccinations must be current.
